Charlesworth Bicentenary
Welcome to the Charlesworth Bicentenary Page
A Step Back in Time Through the History of Charlesworth
Charlesworth School Town Lane Site is 200 years old
This year we are celebrating 200 years of the Charlesworth VC Primary School's Town Lane site.
Our Primary School is a small, village school founded in 1823 by Top Chapel. We are proud to be celebrating our Bicentenary this year, making us one of the oldest schools in the area. As a school, we are dedicated to providing quality education and learning experiences to the benefit of the village children. Our Bicentenary is a special event and we hope you can join us in celebrating 200 years of success.
The 200-year-old school is celebrating its bicentenary this year. As part of the festivities, our website is creating a unique opportunity to capture the rich history of the village and the school's place in it. Join us in celebrating the school's storied past and see how it has shaped the future.
We are actively seeking contributions from both the local community and further afield to help build this website into a shared resource for the community. If you have any photographs, information or other records then please get in contact with us at school at the following email address: enquiries@charlesworth.derbyshire.sch.uk
